Writer: Mayra SinghMayra Singh

Having curly and frizzy hair is becoming a new fashion trend, but not everyone likes to have them. People usually don’t prefer to have curly hair and actively look for a solution to make them straight. They can do this with regular salon treatments. But for a longer-lasting result, here are two common hair treatments that be used.

Keratin Treatment

Keratin treatment is also used for treatment curly, frizzy, and rough hair. This treatment is known as Brazilian blow dryer, but there is no connection between the 2. Unlike Botox treatment, this treatment uses chemical solutions for the process. These solutions used to contain formaldehyde, but due to its side-effects and irritating smell, now formaldehyde-free solutions are available. For this treatment, the hair are washed, and the dermatologist applies the keratin solution on damp hair after the hairs are blow dries, which helps the activation of the solution. After the process, hairs are washed again with warm water.

Botox Treatment

Botox treatment or botulinum toxin hair treatment is commonly used to treat curly and frizzy hairs. This treatment is an easy and fast effect. Don’t mix it up with Botox treatment used for wrinkle reduction. This treatment is for hairs and uses natural substances like amino acids and proteins for the treatment. This treatment begins with a deep hair wash, which helps in removing all oil and impurities from hair. After that, the solution is applied gently on the hair, and then they are left for about 45-50 minutes. In this time, the Botox reaches deep in the scalp and restores the hair follicles. After that, the hair is washed again to remove any remaining residue of the solution.

So, if you want a way to reduce curls and frizz from your hair, you can avail of any of the above mention treatment. They both are safe, easy, and last long.
